SVIAZ-EXPOCOMM’2010
May 11-14, 2010 Sviaz-Expocomm’2010, the 22st International Exhibition for Telecommunications, Control System, IT and Communication services was successfully held at the Expocentre Fairgrounds.
The Show arranged by Expocentre (Russia) and E.J. Krause and Associates Inc. (US) was held with the official support from the Russian Federation Ministry of Telecommunications and Mass Communications and the Russian Federation Ministry of Industry and Trade, under the patronage of the Russian Federation Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Moscow Government and with participation of EUROEXPO Exhibition Company.
Sviaz-Expocomm is recognized with the labels of the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs (RUEF).
The total exhibition space amounted to over 32 000 sq. meters (gross). 524 companies from 23 countries took part in the Show.
Companies from China, France, Germany, Israel, Taiwan and Sweden were exhibited their national and joint expositions.
Leading world manufacturers including ROHDE & SCHWARZ, ADS KRONE, CISCO, ZYXEL COMMUNICATIONS GROUP, INTALSAT CORPORATION, ALPHA TEC, BMWI, ECI TELECOM, CODICO, NEXUS TELECOM AG, RAD DATA COMMUNICATIONS, RPS S.P.A., SPINNER, SYSCOM, VIASAT INC., TTI TELECOM, MIDTRONICS, EXIDE, ASSMANN, and ANRITSUÊ were participants of the largest exhibition of the telecommunication industry.
Different innovative trends in the field of communications and info-communications were the core of the Sviaz-Expocomm’2010 exposition.
The Exhibition saturated programme of business related events afforded specialists the opportunity to discuss a wide range of professional subjects, to debate with their colleagues as well as public agents and businessmen. This year the Programme embraced round tables, seminars and presentations of new products and services which were held within the bounds of thematic days.
May 13 was the Day of Information Technologies, May 14 – the Day of Mass Communications. Over 30 events were held within the framework of the Exhibition including the Russian Internet Governance Forum.
The Presentation forum, arranged by E.J. Krause and Associates Inc. (US) became an important event of the Show. The Event organizers held their presentations, demonstrated the latest developments to many thousand audience of the exhibition directly in the pavilion. The Forum participants were such companies as Transmode Systems AB, Delecon International GmbH, DåTåÂå-Service, Industrial DECT-systems, IMAQLIQ, ViaSat, VocalTec, ELSAG DATAMAT, CIENA, ADC KRONE, UNIDATA, OPTOMA ZYXEL.
Furthermore, the Sviaz-Expocomm’2010 programme of business related events comprised the COMSTAR’s blog-summit on the subject ‘Networks of the Future’, session of the Council on mass communications of the Ministry of Telecommunications and Mass Communications of the Russian Federation and other events.
The Show attracted a large number of professional visitors, users of unique information technologies and telecommunication equipment. 48 766 specialists of the industry familiarized themselves with the Sviaz-Expocomm’2010 exposition.
The Exhibition offered all the opportunities to develop mutually beneficial cooperation between domestic and foreign manufacturers of telecommunication equipment and services; to exchange advanced research developments and innovative projects in this field.
